trash the dress

Got to love a Las Vegas night out on the Strip, especially if it involves a wedding dress!  Plus Kristin let me put her in a few fountains! - You know I love that! This is the Bellagio Hotel fountain right in front of the main doors.

I was so excited to hear Kristin's idea for a night time Strip walk right after their taking their vows at the Wynn Resort.

We also played in the fountains at the Aria Resort.

I've been dying to show off these images since we shot last month at the Jean Dry Lake Bed. I belong to a photographer's group that meets once a month to share ideas, knowledge and just plain support each other. Our group leader, Chelsea Nicole, in her generosity; set up this spectacular Marie Antoinette themed stylized shoot for us all. And WOW! - Did we have a great time! 

We had three models, all of each were so gorgeous and such champs. They braved the cold chilly weather in their gowns while we all bundled in our jackets, scarfs and gloves. 

A shout out to all the fantastic collaborators who put it all together. They totally out did themselves.

And then came my favorite part: destroying the cake. 'Let them eat cake!'

Everyone always wants what they don't have, right? So living in the desert my whole life makes me crave snow. I want a white Christmas!

So with my snow dream, I'm thinking of a kind of winter picnic or feast. Outside in the evergreens with a little table for two that has steaming plates of Christmas dinner. Fur coats and warm gloves over a white wedding dress. Can't you just smell the pine and feel the frost on your nose?
